The outside is painted in vivid Arita Japanese paints “Hana-aka (flower red)” and the inside has a grass pattern. 260 years old Gen-emon kiln has inherited the handcraftsmanship and spirit of “Ko-Imari”. The entire process of making the pieces is done by hand with the skillful techniques of expert potters.
